Same happens to Dhoom 3! The writer of all Dhoom films – Vijay Krishna Acharya – replaces Sanjay Gandhvi as the director of this edition of the film. Don’t know who is Vijay Krishna Acharya? He is the one who directed Tashan.
So, why do we want to watch Dhoom? Bikes, speed, stunts, thrill, right? But when it comes to Dhoom 3, Amir Khan has his bike, has the speed, and there are stunts, but the movie definitely falls short. The movie fails to deliver the desired thrill!
Yes, Amir has amazingly transformed his physique, but that attitude of the thief, that dangerous, risky impression, is missing.
Probably seventy minutes minutes off the complete 172 run time of the film are wasted in entries of the various characters. Songs – not very pleasant either.
Katrina Kaif? A Barbie doll! And an amazing dancer, and she could have been given a little extra screen time.
Unlike box office hits like Taare Zameen Par and 3 Idiots, you may not find the perfectionist in Amir, especially with his stunts, but Amir surely aced the expressions and the emotions!
For not so super acting by Abhishek Bachchan, and the constant laughing of Uday Chopra, I suggest do not spend a lot to watch Dhoom 3!
